Erica believes in celebrating love and life's cherished moments through meaningful, beautiful jewellery. Erica's designs are handcrafted using traditional techniques in her studio in Berkshire, U.K.
With a background is in visual arts and illustration, she made the transition to jewellery after a career break. She attended silversmithing classes and was captivated by this art form. She then started creating pieces using the lost wax casting technique, developing her skills over time, and incorporating precious metals and gemstones. It’s a craft she has fallen in love with and hopes this is evident through her work.
Erica is inspired by the nature that surrounds her in the English countryside. From wildflowers to woodland creatures, she loves to fill her sketchbook with ideas and translate these into pieces of jewellery.
Erica also takes inspiration from the romantic Victorian era, where people would wear sentimental jewellery to celebrate love, life, and friendship, or to mourn their lost loved ones. The secret language of these love tokens and cherished momentos is fascinating to her. It brings her immense joy to be able to connect people through her jewellery and help them celebrate love and life's special moments.
All of Erica's jewellery is created by hand in her jewellery workshop. She has the help of two small UK-based casting companies who assist her with casting her designs using recycled metals. Erica feel strongly about sourcing materials from small UK-based suppliers.
